Harry Wayne Abbott, age 67, of Portage, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011.
He was a Navy Veteran, retired from Bosak Motors as a car salesman. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel, father Howard, sister Judy and brother Butch Abbott, Jr. He is survived by his wife: Terri; children: Tim (Lisa) Abbott, Tammy (Kirk) Ward, Michelle Abbott, Bridget (Alejandro) Irizarry and Alex Abbott; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; sisters: Sue (Ed) Green and Carol Smith; half-sister Hope Parker; and forever friends: Bob Taggart and Kenny Shanks.
Funeral services, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart. Rev. Sam Abbott officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Friends may visit with the family at the Burns Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. (time of services). In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family.
