Lois Jean (nee Spohn) Grzych, age 77, of Crown Point, formerly of Hammond, IN., passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012.

Lois was a graduate of Griffith High School. She was a member of St Matthias Church in

Crown Point. She worked at the St Jude House in Crown Point. She volunteered at the Crown Point YMCA, Wittenberg Retirement Village and the Regency Nursing Home in Dyer.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Grzych in 1997 and her son Dale E. Grzych.

She is survived by her 5 children, Pam (Jerry) Ramult of Littleton, CO., Joe Grzych of Crown Point, Dottie Smith of Crown Point, Sue (Ray) Michelena of Mc Donald TN., and Mike Grzych of Cedar Lake; 1 sister, Marilyn “Cookie” (John) Wiktor of TN. ; brothers, Ken (Pam) Spohn of Maryland, Jerry Spohn of St. John, and Robbie Spohn of Rockville, IN; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren;. and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 9:30 am from Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN to St Anthony Home, 203 Franciscan Drive, Crown Point at 10:30 am with Rev Myron Lowisz officiating.                           

Burial Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville Friends may visit with Lois’s family on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. at Burns Funeral Home
