Kevin B. Copper, age 61, of Lansing, IL, went to his eternal rest on Monday, July 9, 2012. Kevin was a graduate of Mendota Illinois High School and the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana Campus.  He was an agent for Farmer’s Insurance and previously he was an operation and marketing executive in the food industry.  Kevin was an avid golfer, fisherman, gardener and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel C. Copper.  Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Penny; his mother, Dorothy E. Copper of Mendota, IL; four daughters, Elizabeth (Jason) Copper Taylor, of Plainfield, IL, Melinda (Tom) Pfeifer, Brenda (Scott) Hipp both of Winfield, IN, Deidra (Milan) Dezelich of Demotte, IN; two sons, Matthew (Lana) Copper of Colorado Springs, CO and Christopher Copper of Cherry Valley, IL; ten grandchildren, Tristan, Cameron, & Aiden Pfeifer, Cody & Casey Hipp, Milan, Jr., Miranda, & Mirko Dezelich, and Grant Copper; two brothers, Craig (Kathy) Copper of Batavia, IL and Daniel D. (Paula) Copper of Beloit, WI.  Cremation at the Burns Funeral Home Crematory in Crown Point, IN.
