Francis Michael Hornick, age 77, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Gary & Merrillville, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Frank was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School, Class of 1953. He was a member of the National Guard and served in the Army Reserves. Frank was the former owner of the Town Tavern at 5th & Virginia in Gary and was retired from U. S. Steel Sheet & Tin Mill Division. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Mary Hornick. He is survived by 1 brother, Joseph (Carol) Hornick and 1 sister, Maryann (Steve) Trpezanovich both of Merrillville and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. going to SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5885 Harrison St., Merrillville, IN for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Rev.
