Leonard Preston Eaton, age 69, of Greenacres, FL formerly of Merrillville, IN, passed away on November 2, 2012 as a result of a hit and run accident.  Lenny was born in Gary on December 9, 1942.  He was an outstanding athlete and a 1961 graduate of Merrillville High School.  He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army.  Lenny is survived by his daughter Heather (Brian) Schram, her children, Blake and Brock; daughter, Jessica (Greg) Rowe, her children, Jordon and Josh; brother, Dennis (Debbie) Eaton, his sisters, Carol Eaton, Lori Simola, and Kelly (Jon) Grant; and numerous nieces and nephews, and best friend, Kathleen.  Services were held in Florida.
