Marlene Weiss, age 80, of Crown Point (LOFS), passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her son, Garry Weiss and sister, Iris Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Weiss; her children, Howard Weiss and Tracy Weiss Salberg; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Crown Point, IN.  Rabbi Stanley Halpern officiating.  Interment at Temple Israel Cemetery in Portage, IN.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Porter County Humane Society
