Matthew M. Soper, age 16, of Crown Point (Winfield), passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013.
Matt was a junior at Crown Point High School. He loved sports and riding his dirt bike.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Lou Rodriguez and his great-grandmother, Helen E. Hamilton.
Matt is survived by his father, Kevin M Soper of Chicago, mother, Maria Soper-Peak & step-dad, Michael Peak of Crown Point; beloved sisters, Ashley Soper and Savannah Peak & brother, Conner Peak all of Crown Point; maternal grandfather, Jose Rodriguez of Chicago, paternal grandparents, Jack & Pat Soper of Chicago, loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and girlfriend, Yesi.
Friends may visit with Matt’s family on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 2 to 9 pm at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
