Theodore Joseph Varga of Hebron, Indiana, December 3, 1942 – September 9, 2012

Theodore Varga, “Sonny” age 69, of Hebron, IN formerly of Gary, IN passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012.  KSANTI~sanskrit~is patience, forbearance, and the strong endurance of hardship.  A conscious choice to actively give patience as a gift.  A practice of perfection. Theodore, otherwise known as Papoo, was the epitome of love, compassion, and grace under pressure. Family and friends, and all who were lucky enough to be a part of this life with him know what a blessing and honor it was.  Selfless and inspirational, a patriarch, born leader, not just of a family, but to all who knew him.  You will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.  We love you Papoo.  His passions included his family, art, painting, woodworking, fishing, grandkids, and Jackson Hole. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.    “No grave but the sea, Dad, No grave but the sea!”  He is survived by a most gracious wife, Cheryl Varga, daughter, Danielle (Jeremy) Chastain, son, Tad (Kim) Varga, son, Dustin (Carrie) Varga; grandchildren, Jack, Sarah, Grace, Telly, Charlie, Sammy, Lucy, Finn and Fern, and his sister Alberta (Bob) Boznak and many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elizabeth Varga.
