Helen Kubiak, age 79, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of South Chicago, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.  She  was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harry Kubiak.  Helen is survived by 2 daughters,

Nadine (Tom) Mahan of Crown Point and Doreen (John Czajkowski) Kubiak of Hammond; 3 grandchildren, Becky Mahan, Sabrina (Nick) Dobrzeniecki both of Crown Point, and Tommy Mahan, Jr. of Portage; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dolores Lambeth and Bonnie (Carl) Butler both of Chicago; brother, Chester (Diane) Kubiak of Las Vegas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with Helen’s family on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
