Charlie Washington, age 66 of Portage and formerly Utica, MS, passed away peacefully November 30, 2012. He loved fishing and enjoyed playing the Lotto. He was preceded in death by brothers George Washington and Albert Washington. Charlie is survived by his wife Mae Washington; daughter Sherry Cervantes; sister Lillie Mae Wood; brothers G. L. Washington, Fred Washington, Jr. and Ralph Washington; half brother X. L. Paige and many loving nieces and nephews.
