Marianne Cefali of Hobart, IN, November 9, 1937 – December 2, 2012

Marianne G. “Kris” Cefali (nee Krysinski) age 75, of Hobart, IN, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 2, 2012.  Kris was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School, Class of 1955.  She was a former model in Chicago and Administrative Assistant to Charlie O. Finley, the previous owner of the Oakland Athletics Baseball Team.  She was a homemaker during her children’s formative years and then worked and retired from JCPenney Fine Jewelry Department.  Marianne is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dominic A. Cefali and her parents, Stephen and Estelle (nee Klazura) Krysinski.  She is survived by sons, Dr. Dominic C. Cefali of Newburgh, IN, F. Cameron (Robyn) Cefali of Fishers, IN and daughter, Cristina (Roe) Riggio of Libertyville, IL; grandchildren, Nicholas, Dominic John (DJ), Natalie, Troy, and Dante; brother, Norbert (Ruth) Krysinski of Terre Haute, IN; sister, Juanita (Ranko) Erceg of FL; brother, Franklin (Emilie) Krysinski of Valparaiso, IN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Marianne’s family would like to express a special thank you to Wiesia Radzik, Mom and Dad’s caregiver for over 2 years. Friends may visit with Marianne’s family on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. also at Burns Funeral Home.  The Rev.
