Georgia Karabetsos (nee: Klis), age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012.  Georgia was a member of SS Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.  She was a homemaker and a seamstress by trade.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Karabetsos in 1968.  Georgia is survived by 3 children, James (Colleen) Karabetsos of St. John, Mary Day of Crown Point, and Lena (John) Gardner of Crown Point; 5 grandchildren, Niki Karabetsos Friedman, Cindi Karabetsos, Douglas Day, Jack Gardner and Kaitlin Gardner; and many nieces & nephews in Greece & Australia. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.  Trasagion Service Friday.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at SS Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 8000 Madison St., Merrillville, IN.  Rev.
