Yolanda Benard, age 78, of Crown Point, IN formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Yolanda was a graduate of St. Felicitus Elementary School in Chicago, Aquinas High School, and Commonwealth Business School. She was an associate of the Congregation de Notre Dame and many Holy Spirit Church groups. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Benard. Yolanda is survived by her daughter, Dorian (Bruce) Laumann; son, LTC Andrew J. (Suzanne) Benard; grandchildren, Eric & Jessica Laumann, and many loving friends from Holy Spirit Church in Winfield, IN, St. Jude the Apostle Church in South Holland, IL and the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Friends may visit with Yolanda’s family on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7667 E. 109th Avenue, Crown Point, IN. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Thomas Mischler officiating. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL
