Kristina M. Jackson, (nee Danilaitis) “Tina/Tee-Tee”, age 41 of Crown Point, IN, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 4, 2013.  Kristina, known to all as “Tina” or “Tee-

Tee” is now at peace after a chronic battle with multiple medical conditions over the past several years.  Tina is survived by the love of her life and best birthday present ever, her beautiful and amazing daughter, Shannon Jackson (father, Kirk Jackson of Hobart, IN)her loving and devoted parents, Peter and Elena Danilaitis of Crown Point, IN; her sister, Dawn (Jim Orzechowicz) Czekala of Hobart, IN; nieces, Rachel and Michelle Hamnik and great nephew, Connor Michael; brother, Pete (Karen) Danilaitis of Lakeland, MN; nieces, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, and Emily, and nephew Dustin,, also many aunts, uncles cousins, her extended family and dear friends, especially Pam (Reynolds) Neel.  Tina was a graduate of Crown Point High School, Class of 1989, she attended Purdue University, Lafayette and Medical Careers Institute in Chicago, where she earned her certification in Neurodiagnostics.  Tina had a 17-year career as a Neurodiagnostic Technician.  She worked at Child Neurology, Inc in South Bend, IN and Porter Health Systems in Valparaiso.  She was employed as a Technical Specialist at Compumedics, Inc.  Although working, her job allowed her to fulfill one of her goals in life, to travel throughout the United States.  She was most recently employed with Dr. Richard Silberman at Neurology Associates of Northwest Indiana, P.C. in Valparaiso.  Tina was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, Aunt, and friend.  She was an avid sports fan, especially football and baseball.  Tina could call the plays of a football game better than the announcers.  Tina was a devoted fan to her beloved Chicago Cubs.  Tina’s favorite season, next to baseball season, was summer.  She loved grilling, festivals, music, the summer concerts at LOFS and her favorite local band, Nawty, but her favorite places of all were the beach and Wrigley Field.  Tina’s blonde ponytail, bright white smile and outgoing personality lit up a room and left an impression on everyone she met.  The family is encouraging all to share any thoughts, pictures, funny stories or just words of encouragement to be compiled in a memory book for her daughter, Shannon.  Please e-mail us at tinajackson.memories@yahoo.com.  Tina was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all.

Friends may visit with Tina’s family on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home.www.burnsfuneral.com
