Bonita Mae Francis, age 75, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2013.  Bonita was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point, IN.  She was a retired employee of U. S. Steel after 27 years of service.  She was a member of Local #3008 and W. I. B. C.  Bonita was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Sylvia Francis and brother, Raymond A. Francis.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Hazel Seth; 4 nephews, Terry Francis, Todd (Linda) Francis, Mitchell Francis, & Tyler Francis; 2 nieces, Tammie (Michael) Lewis and Tanya (Tim) Francis; 14 great-nieces & nephews; and many cousins.

Friends may visit with Bonita’s family on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home.  Rev. David Wood officiating.  Service will terminate at the funeral home.
