Kim Marie Benson, (nee Neumeyer), age 50, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Kim was a graduate of Merrillville High School, Class of 1981. She was a former employee of UG N. in Valparaiso and attended Christ Presbyterian Church in Winfield. Kim was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia & Clarence Neumeyer and brother, Robert.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Robert D. Benson; 3 children, Stacy Martin, Dale (Alicia) Benson of Bloomington, IN and Jennifer Benson of Crown Point, IN; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn & Chris; 4 brothers, Thomas (Patricia), Jack, Jim, and Dale (Carolyn) Neumeyer; 3 sisters, Jane (Ronald) Fallier, Denise (Kurt) Sikes, and Bonnie (Milan) Trisic, and many nieces,nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church, 7416 E. 109th Ave., Crown Point, (Winfield), IN. Rev. Robert Shaw officiating.
Friends may visit with Kim’s family on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church.
