In Loving Memory of Missy Murry February 24, 2008 – October 19, 2024
Missy wasn’t just a pet; she was a cherished member of our family who brought warmth, joy, and love into our home for over 16 wonderful years. She filled our days with laughter, comfort, and companionship in a way only she could. Through so many of life’s challenges, Missy was a steadfast source of comfort, especially for Beverly during times of sickness and sorrow, occupying her mind and lifting her spirit when it was needed most.
Missy was there through our hardest times—offering her loving presence after we lost our only son, Mike Jr. (Mikey), in 2019; Mike Sr.’s mother, Fannie Murry, in 2020; and Beverly’s father, Howard Brown, in 2022. Her boundless love, quirky antics, and ability to sense when we needed comfort made her such an extraordinary companion. Missy had a playful, attention-grabbing side, always bringing smiles with her flips, jumps, and endless energy. She would even sing along to birthday greetings and one of her favorite gospel songs, Marvin Sapp’s Never Would Have Made It.
To those who knew Beverly and Mike, Missy was also a friend, as much a part of the family as anyone else. Friends and family would often ask about her, because everyone who knew us, knew Missy. She owned every corner of our home and our hearts.
Our home feels emptier without her, but the love and happiness she gave us will live on in our hearts. We will forever cherish our memories of Missy, the best fur baby we could have ever asked for.
Forever in our hearts, Missy. Love Mom & Dad
