Lael Jean Nabhan, of Hobart,
born in Omaha , NE to Eda Augusta and Harry Albein Anderson,
passed away July 3rd, 2012 at age 91. She was preceded in death by her husband of
70 years, Walter G. Nabhan, parents and siblings Verne (Margie) Anderson and Naioma
(Ted) Sporney. She is survived by her
three children Randy (Linda) Nabhan, Diane Nabhan and Daniel (Roseanne) Nabhan,
10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and their
children and grandchildren.
Lael Jean was an active member of Augustana Lutheran
Church. She graduated from Garfield High in Garfield, KS and earned
an Associates Degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg,
KS. She was a wonderful wife and mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother and a published poet and artist.
Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at
Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th
St., Hobart, IN. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10 a.m.
at Augustana Lutheran Church,
207 N. Kelly St., Hobart.
Rev. Charles Strietelmeier officiating.
