Patricia Ann Lowe of Portage, September 21, 1951 – October 21, 2012

Patricia Ann Lowe, age 61, of Portage, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012.  Patty was a former school bus driver for Geminus Headstart School System in Portage.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Birchel and Virginia Ruth Stamper.  She is survived by one daughter, Shawn Marie Denham of Otsego, MI; brothers, Douglas (Wanda) Stamper of Lowell, IN and David (Cindy) Stamper of Griffith, IN, and  sister, Linda (Gene) Mudra of Lansing, IL and and several nieces and nephews.  A Memorial service will be held on Sunday November 4, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 5:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN   Contributions may be made to Patricia’s daughter.

Helen Kubiak of Crown Point, Indiana, November 11, 1932 – October 14, 2012

Helen Kubiak, age 79, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of South Chicago, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.  She  was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harry Kubiak.  Helen is survived by 2 daughters,

Nadine (Tom) Mahan of Crown Point and Doreen (John Czajkowski) Kubiak of Hammond; 3 grandchildren, Becky Mahan, Sabrina (Nick) Dobrzeniecki both of Crown Point, and Tommy Mahan, Jr. of Portage; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dolores Lambeth and Bonnie (Carl) Butler both of Chicago; brother, Chester (Diane) Kubiak of Las Vegas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Royce H. Coulson, Sr. of Hobart, IN, May 13, 1924 – October 15, 2012

Royce H. Coulson, Sr., age 88 of Hobart and formerly of Highland, passed away October 15, 2012.  He served in the US Army Air Force during World War II and was a Shriner and member of the Garfield Masonic Lodge #569.  He was a pharmacist for over 50 years and was employed by Methodist Hospital and Eli Lilly.  He was also a former Director of Public Works for the town of Highland.  Royce was preceded in death by his wife Janice and brother Lores.   He is survived by his loving wife Nitsa; sons Royce, Jr. and David (Julie); step-daughter Angela (Chris Kirincic) Phillips; granddaughter Lilah and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may visit with Royce’s family on Thursday, October 18, 2012, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home,
